Kasmer P. "Casey" Glowacki 81 of Elyria passed away Sunday September 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 14 , 1934 in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania. Kasper served in the United States Army during Korea. Casey was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church , Holy Name Society , a Eucharistic Minister , he also belonged to the 50-50 club and the Polish American Club. He enjoyed Bingo, Casinos , and Buffets. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Anna (nee Deuel) , daughters Theresa (Clint) Wygal of N. Ridgeville , Jean (Charles) Smith of Elyria , Mary Fischone of Streetsboro , Alice (Tom) Bush of Michigan , sons Richard Zinner , Edward Zinner , John Zinner allof Elyria , Michael (lori) Zinner of Cleveland , Ralph (Sandy) Zinner of Columbia Station , Michael (Stephanie) Glowacki of Baltimore, Maryland , 10 grandchildren , 4 great-grandchildren , brothers John of Mayfield Village , Thomas of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania . He was preceded in death by his parents Casper and Catherine (nee Grudzinski) , sisters Verna , Helen , Barbara , Katherine , brother Stanley. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday October 1, 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria, 440-322-4626., where closing prayers will be 9:30 AM Friday October 2, 2015 in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave. Elyria,Oh 44035. Rev. Fr. Albert Veigas will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery (Elyria) where full military honors will be provided by VFW post # 1079.
