Karen L. Machock, 59, of Vermilion passed away peacefully on January 23rd with her son and daughter by her side. She was born October 17, 1961 in Utica, Michigan. She graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and was an employee of Rigid Tool for over 30 years. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to camp, visit Amish Country, go to the beach, and spend time with her family, friends, and grandkids. She was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan, and loved to listen to her favorite music, especially Bob Seger. She is survived by her father Theodore Machock and step-mother Joan Machock of Brea, CA.; her children Stephanie Basinger (Meadows) of Huntsville, AL. and Henry Meadows of Elyria; grandchildren Darrian Meadows, Brennan Meadows, Brayden Basinger, and Sadie Basinger; sisters Susan Rusnak, Maureen Robb, Rebecca Machock; brothers Michael Machock and Richard Machock. She was preceded in death by her mother Anne Machock (Koviak). Arrangements were entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elyria, 440-322-4626.
