Karen Faye Buchanan (nee: Ault) 63 of Sparta, MI (formerly of Grafton) passed away Friday May 25, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN following a short illness. She was born January 3, 1949 in Elyria. Karen had retired from General Motors as a machine operator. She treasured spending time with her family, researching family ancestry, and her cats. Survivors include her husband of forty years; Donald Ray Buchanan, two daughters; Michelle M. Wallace and Donna R. Wirth (Chris) both of Wellington, a son; James E. Buchanan of Sparta, WI, additional survivors include ten grandchildren, a sister; Christina Rose (Joe) of Grafton, a brother; Edward Ault II (Sharon) of Wellington. Karen was preceded in death by an infant son; Darrell Flowers, her parents; Edward and Ruby (nee: Albright) Ault, and a brother; Charles Ault.
