June Streicher (nee: Squire) 89, formerly of Elyria . passed away peacefully Sunday May 3, 2015 at The Renaissance in Olmsted Township. June was a 1943 Elyria High School graduate. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church for over sixty years. June graduated from the Oberlin School of Commerce in 1944, then worked as a secretary at Romec Pump Company and for Attorney Robert H. Rice. After five years as a Secretary, June prioritized her family and remained a home maker for the duration of her life. June enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, baking (especially pies), and traveling. June and her husband of forty eight years; Charles Streicher, traveled throughout the United States and to countries all over the world including Australia, Austria, Botswana, Canada, China, Egypt, England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand and Uganda. June is survived by her three children; Gary (Diane) Streicher, of Mukilteo, WA, Marcia Streicher of Tisbury, MA, and Anita (Keith) Bender of Olmsted Falls, OH, eight grandchildren; Will Evans, Carley (Marty) Kelly, Molly Streicher, James Evans, Haley Bender, Emma Streicher, Jane Streicher, and Tessa Streicher. In addition to her parents; Clifford and Florence Squire, June was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Streicher, and a sister; Audrey (Squire) Haefele. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 29, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church 9685 East River Rd. Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Robert F.
