Julius K. Oros, 96, of Elyria passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday December 28, 2012 at his home. He was born February 24, 1916 in Cleveland and was a Elyria resident for the past 7 years. Julius worked as a engineer at the Bailey Meter Co. for 45 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan, and enjoyed bowling. Survivors include his daughter, Linda (Dan) Angeloro of Houston, TX.; son, Ron (Maggie) Oros of Grafton; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Zoltan Orosz of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite on December 28, 2010, sister, Helen Chepey and a brother, John Orosz. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Private burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In liue of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Our Lady Queen of Peace building fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elyria, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
