Judith A. "Judy" Kovacs (nee: Pinyard) 78, of Medina (formerly of Elyria) passed away at home on Thursday March 17, 2022 following a long illness. She was born October 17, 1943 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Judy was an Elyria Catholic High School graduate and had worked as a registered nurse until her retirement. She treasured spending time with her family; was an avid reader and enjoyed watching The Cleveland Browns. Survivors include her daughters; Carolyn "Lynn" Comer of West Columbia, SC., Hope Must of North Royalton, Laura Richards (Chuck) of Washougal, WA, Amy Anderson of Watertown, SD. Additional survivors include eleven grandchildren, and a brother; Michael Pinyard (Cindy) of New Hampshire. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Virgil and Bertha (nee: Walsh) Pinyard, a sister; Marybeth Hagerty, and a brother Patrick Pinyard. A Celebration of Judy's life will be held privately.
