Judy was a 1961 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School and a devoted member of both St. Jude and St. Mary Catholic Churches.
Judy's dedication to her community was reflected through her many leadership roles. Judy was honored to serve as Lorain County Recorder for 17 years, where her leadership and commitment left a lasting impact on the county she loved.
She served as President of the Lorain County Democrats, Chairwoman of the Elyria Democrats, President of Little League North Women's Auxiliary, and President of the Ohio Recorders Association, Vice President of the National Federation of Democratic Women, and member of the United Polish Club. Judy also worked for the Lorain County Auditor's Office as Supervisor of the Real Estate Transfer Office for 20 years. Judy was also instrumental in bringing The Pops concert series to Elyria—an enduring tradition that continues more than 30 years later.
Outside of her professional and civic life, Judy loved baseball, gardening, and spending time in Northern Michigan, especially Traverse City and Pickerel Lake. Above all, her most cherished moments were those spent with her beloved family, who will remember her warmth, determination, and generous spirit that her fun loving nature made her a magnet for good times and good people.
