Judith A. Jackson, (nee-Kiser), 80, of Elyria passed away Saturday November 25, 2017 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. She was born June 17, 1937 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Judy was employed at the former Timms Spring Company in Elyria for many years as a machinist, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Community of Faith United Church of Christ in Elyria, and enjoyed traveling, reading, playing games on her tablet and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Jeff) Dodd, Jenny Bliss, and Jill (Gary) Orseno; ; son, Jeff (Gimma Sue) Jackson; grandchildren, Daniel, David, Ryan (Jess), Katie, Brianna (Jesse), Taylor (Steve), and Halena; sisters, Elaine Hale, Jackie Johns, and Kimberly Kiser; brothers, Jerry, Terry and Gary Kiser; longtime companion, Joseph Hass and her loving lapcat Sugar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Jack Kiser and brothers, Jack and David Kiser. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 30, 2017 at Community of Faith United Church of Christ 9715 East River Rd., Elyria. The Rev. Kathy Ketchum, pastor, will Officiate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church or the Friendship Animal Protective League 8308 North Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria.
