Joyce E. Harrington (nee Black), 84, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Wesleyan Village in Elyria following a lengthy illness. She was born October 9, 1933 in Oil City, PA. and was a 1951 graduate of Oil City High School. Joyce worked for LCCC as a bookstore clerk for 17 years. She enjoyed traveling, was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers, her greatest enjoyment was being with family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 66 years Gordon R.; daughter Lori Mace of Lorain; sons Gary (Laura) of New Philadelphia, OH, Kevin (Renee) of Oregon,OH.; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her dog Lacee; sister Peg (Duane) Pritchard of Oil City,PA; brother George (Ginny) Black of Tucson,AZ.
