Joyce C. Sherrill, 79, of Parma, Ohio passed away on September 22, 2024 after a short illness. Joyce was born On March 27, 1945 to Maurice and Mary Cocke in Corning, Ohio. It was love at first sight when Joyce saw Pat Sherrill. They married on August 26, 1961 and had five children: Vickie Sherrill, Melissa Herbert (Rodney), Patricia Karpus (Don), Phillip Sherrill (Mandy) and Jason Sherill. Joyce spent her time making a home for her husband and children. She loved gardening and later in life enjoyed time with her grandchildren, David, Kevin, Mark, Amber, Trent, Kaylee, Jacob, Taylor, Nicolas, Patrick and Jesica. Joyce's beloved family also includes her great-grandchildren and siblings George, Rosemary, Phillip and Janie (Ted) along with many nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Sherrill in 2000, angel daughter, Tammy, father, Maurice, mother, Mary and brother, George. The family will recieve friends Friday September 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
