Joseph John Ring I 76 of Sheffield Lake passed away unexpectedly Saturday August 30,2014 at St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake. He was born September 21 , 1937 in Cleveland and was a 1955 graduate of John Marshall High School. Joseph worked for General Motors for 47 years as a Machine Repairman and also taught math at General Motors to some of the employees until his retirement. He served his Country as a United States Marine. Joseph was a member of NRA and UAW Local 1005. Joseph loved Golfing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Frances (nee Browning) , daughter Kimberly A Ring (Rick) of Spencer , son Joseph J. Ring II (Chelle) of Globe, Arizona , sister Kay (Leonard ) Tarone ,grandchildren Kayla , Thomas , Frances , Matthew , Joseph III, Nathaniel and Christian , great-grandson James , Nephews John , Robert , Frank and Eric. He was preceded in death by his parents John W. Daniel Ring and Theresa ( nee Levy) , sister Frances Wagner.
