IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph Kenneth
Nowak
December 18, 1924 – July 21, 2020
Ken (Joseph K.) Nowak's life began December 18, 1924. He spent his earlier years in the Elyria School Systems. He was a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, Math and Physics Major. Eventually the metal stamping industry got his attention, preparation of costs proposals, including tooling, material, and production costs was his area of expertise. It proved to be such an interesting field of endeavor that he retired at the age of seventy-two. Travel of the USA, Canada, and Western Europe with his wife , Ruth (Deceased) was most enjoyable. Ken was interested in Photography and the Cosmos. To play better golf and to catch Lake Erie Perch was always a work in progress. However, he was a very poor speller. He had trouble remembering names and faces, his computer was a problem, but his cooking was edible. His parents were Joe and Anne, siblings were Dolores and Dick, they are wonderful memories. Ruth and Ken had no children, They were exposed to the many aspects of family life via the families of their nieces and nephews, the Ploszaj's (Oberlin, OH.), the Walker's (Newark,OH.), the Garrick's (Westerville, OH.) and the Whiteacre's (Mt. Vernon, OH.). Ken was a resident of Wesleyan Village Elyria, Ohio where he passed away July 21, 2020 due to natural causes. All services and burial were held. Arrangements were entruste to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elyria, 440-322-4626. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.laubenthalmercado.com
