Joseph S. French Jr., 93, of LaGrange passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington following a lengthy illness. He was born July 19 , 1926 in Elyria. Joseph enjoyed woodworking. He worked for American Standard and was a hard working dairy farmer. Joseph proudly served his Country in the Army during WWII. Survivors include his daughter Debbie (Randy) Lindsey of LaGrange; sons David (Eileen) of Wellington, Daniel (Annie) of Toledo; grandchildren Laura Lindsey, Christopher French and Joseph French. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (nee Bullis); parents Joseph Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Vargo); brother George. There will be no visitation or services. The family would like to thank the staff of Fresenius Dialysis Center and The Elms for the wonderful and compassionate care they showed Joseph. In lieu of flowers the family suggests those who wish may make donations in Joseph's name to the American Kidney Foundation 6110 Executive Blvd. #1010 Rockville, MD. 20852.
