Joseph L. Dillon Jr. 85, of Eaton Twp. passed away at home Wednesday May 11, 2011 following a long illness. He was born January 28, 1926 in Franklin Co. VA. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a pipefitter. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church; he loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed fishing and baseball. Survivors include a daughter; Katherine J. Dillon of Parma, a son; David "Pat" Dillon of Grafton, additional survivors include; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters; Claudia "Tootsie" Terrell , Melva Smith, and Dearel Holland all of VA., a brother; Melvin "Doc" Dillon of VA. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife; Betty (nee: Hatten) a son; Joseph L. Dillon III, his parents; Joseph L. Sr. and Janie (nee: Ferguson) Dillon, a several sisters and a brother; Andrew Jackson Dillon.
