Joseph M. Cameron 82, of Grafton passed away Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Hospice Services of Southwest General in Strongsville following a long illness. He was born October 16, 1934 in Ferryden, Scotland. Joseph was a retired carpenter; he treasured spending time with his family, and enjoyed playing piano, drums in a pipe band, computers, and history. Survivors include his daughters; Catherine Cameron of Texas, Bonnie Jo Schmidt (Dave) of Grafton, sons; Paul Cameron, of California, Corrie Cameron of North Ridgeville, Robert Bittner (Sharon) of Indiana, and seven grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife; Marilyn J. (nee: Sullivan) his parents; John and Catherine (nee: Mearns) Cameron, and a brother; Harry Cameron. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM Friday December 2, 2016 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
