Jordan Alexander Martinez  29, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2025.  He was born September 16, 1996 in Elyria where he was a lifelong resident.  Jordan worked as a supervisor for a medical supply company. His children were the love of his life. Jordan enjoyed sports, amusement parks, watching horror movies, and treasured spending time with family and friends.  Survivors include his parents; Angie and Steve New of Elyria, his children; Serenity and Myles Martinez, a brother; Julian Martinez of Elyria, grandmother; Helen Haddox of Elyria, and the mother of Jordan's children; Breana Roberts of Elyria, and his canine best friend; Chewy  The family will received friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday November 18, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 7:00 PM immediately following visitation. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be private.
