John M. Snider 97, of Elyria passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 at the Wesleyan Village. He was born June 16, 1920 in Glenville, W.VA. John was a member of American Legion and Masonic Lodge in Parkersburg, W.VA. He enjoyed woodworking, listening to Southern Gospel Music and attending gospel concerts, flea markets all sports especially baseball. Survivors include his wife of 75 years Mary (nee Duelley); son David of Elyria; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Gary. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Wednesday July 26, 2017 at the Elyria Community United Methodist Church 680 Abbe Rd. N. Elyria, Ohio 44035. Pastor Kevin Coleman will officiate.
