John G. Reising, 62, of Elyria passed away Sunday July 26, 2015 at UH EMH Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born July 8, 1953 in Lorain and was a Elyria resident for most of his life. John worked at the former General Industries in the molding department for 22 years, was a United States Marine Corps veteran, was very involved in Little League Baseball for over 30 years and was a avid NASCAR racing fan. Survivors include ,his wife of 42 years, Amy (nee-Wright); daughters, Lisa Tucker and Melissa Reising both of Elyria; son, John Reising of Elyria; grandchildren, Robert, Justin and Dylan; great-grandson, Jonah; father, Gilbert Reising of North Ridgeville; sisters, Deborah Gardner and Pamela Althaus both of Wellington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday August 1, 2015 at the West Park Recreational Center 1200 Foster Ave., Elyria.
