John P. Hursky 89, of Elyria passed away Saturday May 30, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. He was born July 4, 1925 in Cleveland. John served in the U.S. Navy; and retired in 1990 from Verizon as an electrician. Survivors include his wife of forty years; Mary Ann (nee: Hendle), two daughters; Linda Dembroski (Richard) of Las Vegas, NV, Gail Peyton of Elyria, additional survivors include four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters; Jenny of Brunswick, Stephanie of Creston, a brother; Michael of Buffalo, NY. John was preceded in death by his parents; William and Mary (nee: Petralana), two brothers; William and George . Memorial services will be held at a later date.
