John M. "Jack" Huge 72, of Elyria passed away Sunday April 21, 2013. He had served in the U.S. Navy, and was a family man known for his wit. Jack grew up in Avon Lake, and served Elyria's Board of Standards and Appeals for many years. He had worked for Sears and U.S. Steel. In 1980 he began his HVAC business; Jack Huge Heating and Air Conditioning. He and his son worked together until recent months when he became ill. Jack is survived by his beloved wife; Sally Huge (nee: Harris), a son; Kenneth D. Huge (Shirley), a daughter; Pamela J. (nee: Huge) Prieto, four grandchildren; BJ Huge, (Cortney), McKenzie Prieto, Michael Prieto, and Shelby Prieto, four great grandchildren, and a brother; Robert Huge (Diane). Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Thursday April 25, 2013 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
