John Edward Galish went home to be with the Lord December 6, 2012 at home surrounded by family. Born in Central City, PA on August 21, 1934. John was preceded in death by his father; John J. Galish, his mother; Mary C. Galish, and his brother; James Galish. Survived by his sister; Rosemary Conzatti. Dear husband of his wife of fifty three years; Mary (Warzlow), cherished father of John David Galish, Andrea Shaffer (Galish), and Deborah Mason (Galish). Loved fataher in law of Elaine Galish (Kiner), Scott Shaffer, and Duane Mason. Devoted grandfather of Dustin Galish, Tyler Galish, Kristyanne Galish, John Devin Galish, Alex Mason, and Bronson Mason (and known by the name of "Man" by all of them) John Edward Galish a proud U.S. Army veteran, an employee of Dupont for twenty two years, business owner of Tex-sol Plastics, a retiree of Valley City Steel. He enjoyed RV travel through forty six of the fifty states, a long time membership in GPAA, and European river cruises.
