John C. "Jack" Robuck Jr., 80, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday August 17, 2022 at the Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain following a brief illness. He was born April 8, 1942 in Dunbar, PA. and lived for most of his life in Lorain County. Jack was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, retiring in 1992 as a tow motor operator. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed doing yard work and loved his feline companion "Buffy". Survivors include his step-daughters, Gina Burgett (Ray), Debra Strick (Mike), Laura Lawhorn (the late Mike), Kimberly Sabo (John) and Sheryl Sprinkle (Ross); 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian, second wife, Linda, grandson, Jeremy Chappell and one brother. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church will Officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
