Joanna Lynn Wukie, 63, of Grafton passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024 following a long illness. She is survived by her loving daughter Lynnette Marie Wukie, her pride and joy. Additional survivors include her mother, Theresa Wukie, siblings Diana (Rick) Fritz, John (Patty) Wukie, Brenda (Berry) Taylor, Sandy Koeth, Jim (Julie) Wukie, Shari (Kirk) Hirschfelder, Steve Wukie, Colleen (Jim) Scavuzzo, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Gene Wukie.

Joanna was born February 10, 1961, and was known for her big heart, infectious laugh, and her caring compassionate soul. She loved tending to her award-winning flowers, cycling, camping, spending time with her family, cheering on her daughter at Notre Dame along with rooting for the Buckeyes. Joanna attended Elyria Catholic High School and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Computer Science Engineering. As so many can attest, Joanna was always someone who was thoughtful and loved to help those in need.

She will be greatly missed by her loving daughter and family.  Joanna's memory will be treasured and live on in their hearts.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria, OH. (Please meet at the church.) The Reverend Father Charles T.
