Jenniene R. Machovina, (nee-Schroth), 62, of Elyria passed away from a brief illness Tuesday January 15, 2019, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 18, 1956 in Berea and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. She earned her associate degree in liberal arts at Lorain County Community College in 1988. Jenniene was employed by Alexis Concrete Enterprises for 19 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria where she had previously serves as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the Elyria Elks #465, Fraternal Order of Eagles 431 and a social member of the Knights of Columbus Council 774. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, traveling and was Elvis Presley's number one fan. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Edward J. Machovina II; son, Edward (Michelle) Machovina III; daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Elbert; grandchildren, Edward IV, Brittany and Luke Machovina and Alexis, Joseph Jr. and Benjamin Elbert; father, Roger F. Schroth; brother, Roger (Jackie) Schroth Jr.; sisters, Dawn Sharkey and Leslie (James) Karas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia A. Schroth (nee-Dupaski). All services and burial will be private.
