Jeffrey M. Walker 58, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2017 at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland. He was born November 3, 1958 in Elyria, and had worked as a Carpenter. Jeff enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working with his hands, bowling, and NASCAR. Survivors include his mother; Marlene Walker of Elyria, a sister; Rebecca Hartwig (Scott) of Elyria, four brothers; Timothy Walker (Marcie) of Myrtle Beach, SC., Michael Walker (Gina) of Elyria, Gerald Chizmar (Amy) of Elyria, Christoper Chizmar of Elyria. his partner; Carol Hrivnak, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; David L. and Elizabeth (nee: Stitak) Walker. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held 6:00 PM Saturday June 17, 2017 at Community of Faith Church 9715 E. River Rd. Elyria, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until time of services in the church at 6:00 PM Saturday. Pastor Kathy Ketchum will officiate. Burial will be private.
