Jeffrey S. Murray

Jeffrey S. Murray, 59, of Elyria, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland after a short illness. He was born on June 16, 1966, in Elyria to Terry and Mary (née Bedocs) Murray, and was a graduate of Elyria High School, Class of 1984.

Jeff was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in both his work and his family. He was the owner of Express Parts Inc. in Berea. He cared deeply for his employees and customers. Beyond his professional life, Jeff’s greatest joy came from his family—especially his beloved granddaughters, who held a special place in his heart. Jeff will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his deep love for his family, and the quiet but meaningful impact he made on those around him.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Pamela; daughter, Nicole Murray; son, Jay (Megan) Murray; granddaughters, Alexis and Eloise, sister, Annette Carter; step-brother, Christopher Woehrman. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Smith; father, Terry Murray; step-mother, Elizabeth Murray; step-sister, Cynthia Kofron; brother-in-law, Brett Carter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Pastor Jeff Smith will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeff’s name can be sent to Calvary Baptist Church 114 Hope Court Elyria, Ohio 44035.
