Jeffrey H. Carpenter, 51, of Eaton Twp, passed away on October 25, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Elyria on October 10, 1971 to parents James and Brenda Carpenter (nee: Harris). Jeffrey worked as a supervisor for Rolen Plastics for over twenty years. He was known as a kind and loving man who loved his family and his Labrador Retrievers. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his cars, living it up in Las Vegas, listening to Motley Crue, participating in demolition derbies with Grafton Lynch Mob, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Alabama Football. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Heather (nee: Newton); son, Jeffery Jr.; daughter; Olivia, mother, Brenda (Dick) Roberts; brother, James; sisters, Jill Gallogly and Terri Williams; brother-in-law, Eric Newton; 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, James. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 4-7 PM at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626 followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
