Jeanette M. Monschein, (nee-Wransky), 77, of Elyria passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 at her home following a long illness. She was born October 15, 1944 in Cleveland and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Jeanette was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and enjoyed flower gardening and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Kenneth; daughter, Rebecca Monschein; son, Robert (Becky) Monschein; grandchildren, Logan, Trey and Chase; sister, Linda Saltis. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Robert Wransky. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday March 24, 2022 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church 41295 North Ridge Rd., Elyria. Please meet at church. The Rev. Fr. Neil Walters, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private.
