Jeanette Elizabeth Day (nee Miller), 93,of Elyria formerly of New Freedom, PA. passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center surrounded by family.She was born September 13, 1925 in Freeland, MD. Jeanette was a charter member of the triangle chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars #483, ladies auxiliary VFW post # 1079, and fraternal order of eagles auxiliary 431. Survivors include her son Jim (Carol) of Elyria; brother Carl (Betty) of Freeland, MD; sister in law Linna (Elwood) Walker of Red Lion, PA.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend and companion Elmer Norris of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband Junior. All services and burial were held in New Freedom, PA.
