Jean Grace Ignatz (nee: Rago) 91, of Elyria passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born on December 3, 1930 in Elyria.  Jean was an Elyria High School graduate and a member of St. Mary's Church in Elyria where she worked as a part-time secretary for over twenty years.  She loved spending time with her family, visiting with neighbors, sitting on her porch in the sun, and walking. Jean will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Survivors include three daughters, Pamela J. Ignatz-Nowell (Michael) of Amherst, Peggy A. Ignatz of Elyria, and Gail Ignatz-Hoover (Fred) of Elyria.  Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Joseph Nowell (Renee), Lindsay Nowell, James Ignatz-Hoover (Allison), and Sarah Ignatz-Hoover; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Nowell; and a sister, Irene Shanks (nee: Rago) of Westlake.  Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-eight years, Zoltan; her parents, James and Sarah (nee: Cirigliano) Rago; and a brother, Anthony V. Rago. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in The Weigand Room at St. Mary's Church.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon immediately following visitation at St. Mary's Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH 44035.  The Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick, Pastor will be the celebrant.  Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Elyria. The family suggests that memorial contributions in Jean's memory be sent to University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Research, (UH Institutional Relations & Development, P.O.
