Jean M. Baumann (nee: Roling) 74, of Elyria passed away Saturday May 17, 2014 at The Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. Jean was born November 30, 1939 in Elyria and was a lifelong area resident. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria. Jean was also a member of and past president of The Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary, and a member of The LaGrange Engine Club. She was also politically involved in local government. Jean treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren; she enjoyed travel, cooking, gardening and animal charities. Survivors include her husband of forty nine years; Dr. Robert L. Baumann, three daughters; Susan L. Linz of Canton, Patricia J. Abrams (Randy) of Canton, Dr. Carolyn L. Baumann Rossini (Michael) of Olmsted Falls. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, a sister; Shirley Roling of Elyria. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth C. and Genevieve J. (nee: Cajka) Roling.
