Jason L. Parsons, 40, of Elyria passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at University Hospital - Main Campus in Cleveland. Jason loved his family especially his niece Emily. He liked to build remote control boats and trucks. Jason worked as management in the Bar/Restaurant Industry until his illness in 2017. Jason had a big heart and would help anyone. He wanted everyone to be happy. Survivors include his mother Janice Parsons of Elyria; father Jay Parsons (Gerry) of Wakeman; brother Rusty (Jessica) Parsons of Amherst; niece Emily Parsons; grandfather Howard Zirkle of Elyria; uncles Richard "Sonny" Clady of Elyria, Rickie Zirkle of Kentucky, Scott (Sylvia) Parsons of Monroeville, OH.; best friend Shaun Gale of Lakewood. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Ethel Zirkle; Paternal grandparents Dick and Phylis Laskosky.
