Janet Ann Fackler (nee Worst), 91, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Elyria at the Wesleyan Village. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Paul. She was born September 26, 1929 in Ashland, Ohio. Janet came to Elyria in 1977 from Amherst, lived in Sun City West, A. for 15 years and returned to the Elyria area in 2005. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elyria. Janet will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandma, grandmagrandma and friend. Survivors include her sons, Brad (Linda) of Germantown, MD. and Steve (Gita) of Fort Wayne, IN.; grandchildren, Andrea (Joel) Shoaf, Greg (Jeanne) Fackler, Jen (Matt) McAlear, and Paul (Sarah) Fackler; great grandchildren, Nathaniel Shoaf, Makayla Shoaf, Ava Fackler, Ben Fackler, Nora McAlear and Everly McAlear; sister, Judy (Robert) Baldridge of Sun City West, AZ. She was preceded in death by her brother Philip Worst and sister Jonne Welton. Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Ashland County Memorial Park Chapel 1058 US Rte 250, Ashland, OH. 44805, with a reception to follow at 3:30 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church 508 Center St. Ashland, OH. 44805.
