Jane L. Younglas, (nee-Beriswill), 88, of Penfield Township passed away Monday August 7, 2017 at her home following a brief illness. She was born February 6, 1929 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Jane was a 1951 Ursuline College graduate, worked as a library assistant at the Herrick Public Library in Wellington and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Thomas; daughters, Karen (George) Fabian and Sherry (John) Wilson; sons, Dennis and Greg Younglas; 4 grandsons; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin in 1986 and brothers, Al, Edwin, Robert and Daniel Beriswill. The family will receive friends Thursday 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Specialists 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Friends will also be received Friday August 11, 2017 in the Gathering Area of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Penfield Cemetery, Penfield Twp..
