Jane Kathryn Udvardy Terry died peacefully on July 25th after a series of heart attacks and strokes caused by antiphospholipid syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes blood clots. She is survived by her devoted husband Glen Harold Terry, to whom she was married 59 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Kurt Allen, Glen Michael, Andrea Kaye, Kris Harold, Mark Christopher, Joel Andrew, and Ericka Jane Terry, and her daughters-in-law, Amy Halpin Terry, Julia Tucker Terry, and Pamela Terry. She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Udvardy Teaman and Donna Udvardy Ignatko, and brother Gerald Udvardy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kevin Michael Terry, Michael David & Adam Thomas Terry, Virginia, Timothy, and Christopher Wright, and Brandon Scott and Joshua Edward Terry, and her great-granddaughters Jenna Elyse Terry and Emma Grace Terry. She was preceded in death by her grandsons Kyle Anthony Terry and Hank Wright, as well as her parents Andrew John and Kathryn Henson Udvardy. Jane grew up on the 1700 block of South Lorain and graduated from Lorain High in 1956. She was a devout Catholic who took pride in raising her family in the Church. She moved to Grafton in 1972. Jane was a member of the PTA for Midview schools for more than 20 years, at times serving as president. An avid sports fan, she was often at games, cheering for her children when they were playing and for the school when they were not. She worked for the city of Lorain as a clerk in their juvenile court and later for the city of Oberlin. She had many interests throughout her life, but in retirement, she especially enjoyed daily walks with her husband in the local parks and quiet time outdoors. Her son Mark spoke for us all when he said, "I will miss her laugh". Private services were held for the family at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, Ohio. Jane was interred at St. Mary's Cemetery in Grafton In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice c/o Andrea Terry 469 Poplar St. Elyria,Ohio 44035.
