Jane Ann Phillips (nee: Ksiazk), 78, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 under the care of Nivalis Hospice.  She was born and grew up in Lorain and attended Nativity School and graduated from Admiral King in 1965. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish of Lorain and a past member of the United Polish Club of Elyria. Jane enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Survivors include son, Christopher (Rita) Mowry, Brian (Melissa) Mowry, Patrick (Shannon McGuire) Mowry, John "Jack" (Regina Roberts) Mowry; daughters, Melanie and Kristin Phillips; grandchildren, Ashley Willis, John Mowry, Jessica Locker, Savannah Shinsky, Chloe Mowry, Macie Sprague, Jenna McDonnell, Breenna Moyer, Ciara Varner, Olivia Fox, Emma Whitacre, 17 great-grandchildren, sister, Camille Kelsey of Georgia; brother, Albert Ksiazk of Illinois, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Veronica (nee: Stachelski), her husband of 10 years, Jeffery, in 2003, brothers, Ron and Richard Ksiazk; sisters, Constance Horosz and Melaine Sukey. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish of Lorain 418 West 15th Street in Lorain (Please meet at church.) Reverend Father Craig Hovanec, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain. The family would like to thank the Nivalis Hospice team, especially Lori and Kim.
