Jane A. Kohl (nee: Blair), 91, of Elyria, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born in Elyria on April 28, 1933 to parents Paul E. and Janet (nee: Clark). Jane worked as an X-Ray technician and then as a homemaker after her children were born. She took great pride in caring for them, and she never missed one of their sporting events. She enjoyed baking, casinos, traveling, and crossword puzzles. Jane was an avid Notre Dame and Cleveland Indians fan. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Robert) Bair; sons, Thomas (Bev), Edward Benitta; son-in-law, Scott Thoman; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Regis, in 2006; daughters, Janet Decker and Margaret Kohl Thoman. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church 590 Poplar Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035. Reverend Father Joseph Scalco, CSJ, will celebrate.
