James R. Tripphahn, 69, of Grafton passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 at his home following a brief illness. He was born January 31, 1952 in Oberlin and was a lifelong area resident. Jim was employed at the former York International Company in Elyria as a tow motor operator. He was a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, loved his animals and enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patricia "Patsie" (nee-Slack); daughter, Rebecca; sons, Robert (Amber), Nicholas (Amber), Jay (Stacy) and Benjamin; preceded in death by brother Jack . A Celebration of Life will be Saturday June 26, 2021 (today) from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the family farm. Private inurnment will be at a later date Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township.
