James C. Torres, 54, of LaGrange passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He was born August 29, 1964 in Fall River, MA. James worked for American Greetings as a quality Assurance Engineer. He was an amazingly kind, generous, and intelligent man. He enjoyed fixing things, but most importantly, he loved his family. He was a good son, brother, father, and friend to all. Survivors include his daughters Kimberly and Hayley Torres both of LaGrange, mother Elizabeth Moyer (nee Macey); sisters Bethany (Brian) Smith of LaGrange, Pauline (Tim) Gonsalves of Sullivan, Lisa (Gordon) Martel of Tiverton, RI., Stacey (Jose) Abua of Sterling CT; brothers Stephen of Grafton, Michael A. of Wellington, Michael M. of Douglasville,GA. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Patenaude. There will be No Visitation or Services. In lieu of flowers family asks donations be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
