James "Jim" R. Osbun, 74, of North Ridgeville passed away Monday May 19, 2025 at his home following a brief illness.

He was born February 2, 1951 in Elyria and was a lifelong North Ridgeville resident.

Jim was the owner-operator of Osbun Electric for 45 years. He was a 1969 North Ridgeville High School graduate and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his daughter, Erin Leiby; grandchildren, Ethan Leiby and Renee' Setliff; sisters, Carolyn Green and Ruth Stang and brother, Thomas Osbun.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda in 2024, step-son, Michael Setliff and brothers, Bill and John Osbun.

Friends will be received Thursday May 29, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria.

Burial will be private.
