James R. Lucas Jr. 62, of Grafton (formerly of Lorain) passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 9, 2012 at EMH Healthcare. He was born November 9, 1949 in Amherst, OH. Jim treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren; he was a past commander of Canadian Legion Post # 54. Jim enjoyed travel and visiting casinos. Survivors include his wife of forty three years; Barbara J. (nee: Harvitt), a daughter; Robin K. Whitman (Matt) of Jasper, GA, a son; Adam C. (Rachael) of Columbus, additional survivors include five grandchildren; Kaitlan, Kerri, Rachel, Samantha, Joshua, a god daughter; Jennifer, a sister; Donna Taranto of Lorain, and three brothers; Richard and David both of Lorain, Thomas of Willoughby. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; James R. Sr. and Doris (nee: Neely) Lucas.
