James Hupp Jr. 50 of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Friday July 24, 2015 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born June 9, 1965 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School. After graduation he went on to become a paramedic , then became an LPN working in the Amherst ER for 20 years , following that he became an IT Tech. for EMH for the past 4 years. James enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas , shopping and especially spending time with his family. Survivors include his parents James Sr. and Genevieve (nee McKahan) of Elyria , sisters Gina (Brian) Burress of Lima , and Shelly (Rick) Litten of Elyria , nephews Erik and Jacob. NO VISITATION. Private Graveside services will be held at Brookdale Cemetery (Elyria). In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made in James name to his favorite charity Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program 2015 716 Broad St. Elyria, Ohio 44035 , this program provides Christmas presents to the less fortunate , Jimmy was a big contributor to this program to ensure every child had a present to open on Christmas. Jim would start shopping in January but when he said he was done he would buy more even after shopping for his family he would find something and would say 1 more present would'nt hurt.
