James D. "Jim" Meadows Sr., 69, of Sheffield Village passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 15, 2019 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. He was born December 2, 1949 in Huntington, WV. James was a truck driver for BFI for 33 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, woodworking and gardening. Survivors include his fiancé Linda Bolden (nee Woloszyn); daughter Terri (Edward) Wallace of Penfield Twp.; sons Tommy James Howard (Margot) of Roswell, GA., James Meadows Jr. (Susan) of Akron; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother Robert (Sylvia) Meadows of Parkersburg, WV.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James Garland and Janice Meadows (nee Beckett); sister Sharon Fischer.
