Dr. James J. Huber, 86, of Grafton passed away Thursday April 2, 2020 at the Elm's Retirement Village in Wellington following a long illness. He was born July 29, 1933 in Cincinnati. Jim was a Science Professor at Lorain County Community College for 23 years, retiring in 1986. He earned his P.H.D. from The Ohio State University, was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting, hiking, bicycling and nature in general. Survivors include his sons, James A. Huber and Christopher W. Huber; grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia; sister, Carol Tanner. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Sammons and a brother, Melvin Huber. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton, OH. 44044.
