James F. "Jimmy" Dumski, 56, of Elyria passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born November 14, 1960 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Jim worked as a sales manager at Page Net in Cleveland for many years, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, was a 1979 Elyria High School graduate, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 774 and the Elyria United Polish Club and for many years operated the score clock at Elyria Catholic High School football games. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lisa (nee-Ingersoll); daughter, Allison Dumski; sister, Nancy Hicks; brothers, Larry (Helen) Dumski and Tom (Lori) Dumski and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Bette Dumski and a sister, Carol Dumski. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Friday June 30, 2017 in the Weigand Room at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. in St. Mary Church. The Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Private burial will at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Following burial the family will receive friends in the St. Mary Gymnasium for fellowship. In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Mary Church Building Fund or to Lifebanc 4775 Richmond Rd. Cleveland, OH. 44128-5919.
