James L. Cox, 87, of Elyria passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Lorain. He was born November 27, 1934 in Campbell, TN. James proudly served his Country in the United States Army during Korea. He worked for Ford Motor Co. for 42 years. James was a 50 year member of the Cleveland Masonic Lodge F.& AM. #781. Survivors include his wife Madelene (nee Hoke); daughter, Denise A. Cox; sons, James D. Cox and Carl R. Fox (Lisa); grandchildren Melanie and Jason Fox; sister, Beverly Karras. Family will receive friends from 10AM until time of service at 12 Noon Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
