James "Jim" Clifford Moran Jr. 72, of Grafton passed away Sunday December 11, 2011 at Good Samaritan Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Avon following a short illness. He was born September 8, 1939 in Cleveland. Jim was a St. Edward High School graduate. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. The Moran family had owned and operated The Elyria Bowling Center since 1956; Jim was inducted into the Elyria Bowling Hall of Fame. He was a member of Elyria Elks, and enjoyed bowling, golf and doing yard work. Survivors include his wife; Patricia "Patty" (nee: Hrnchar), three sons; James "Stretch" Moran (Shona) of Elyria, John Moran (Lisa) of Lakewood, Joseph Riccardi (Sherry) of Elyria, and a daughter; Laura Baughman (John) of Lorain. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren; Heather, Cortney, Eric, Johnny, Joannie, Lauren, Rachel, Jerry, and two great grandchildren; Ashton and Ryleigh, two brothers; Dennis of Lake Havasu, AZ., and Richard of Grafton.
