James Phillip Caddell Jr., 53, of Lorain passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born December 16, 1968 in Lakewood, and was a graduate of Clearview High School. James worked as a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, shooting, and spending time with family especially his granddaughter. James was well loved, always the life of the party and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Tracey (nee Coon); daughter, Brittany Caddell; sons, James Caddell III, Brandon (Paige) Caddell and Jared Caddell; granddaughter Magnolia Caddell; sisters, Bridget (David) Standen and Melissa (Dan) Ambrose; mother Faye Caddell (nee Goode). He was preceded in death by his father James Caddell Sr. Family will receive friends from 4 PM until time of service at 7 PM Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Pastor Ed Wishart will officiate. Burial Private.
