Jacqueline A. "Jackie", "Ms. Davis" Davis, (nee-Weaver), 56, of Avon Lake passed away Monday August 5, 2019 at St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake following a sudden illness. She was born January 23, 1963 in Elgin, IL. And was an Avon Lake resident for most of her life. Jackie was employed by the Elyria Public School System as a Teacher for the past 30 years, was an animal lover and enjoyed horseback riding. She is survived by a son, Alex Davis and was preceded in death by her mother, Ilse Weaver. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday August 17, 2019 in the Great Hall at the First Congregational United Church of Christ 330 Second St., Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 North Murray Ridge Rd. Elyria, OH. 44035.
