Jack E. Romans 87, of Elyria passed away Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Lorain. He was born January 1, 1926 in Williamson, WV. Jack had served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He earned a Master's degree in Education from Marshall University; and was a retired teacher and assistant principal with the Elyria Schools. Jack was a member of V.F.W. Post 1079, Amvets, and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing golf, and travel. Survivors include his wife of sixty two years; Erda Romans, his children; John L. Romans, Wade E. Romans, Steven V. Romans, Jacqlyn Whisenhunt, Melvin O. Romans, he is also survived by ten grandchildren several great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; John and Rushia Romans and two sisters.
